  • What is Old Timer Auctions?
Old Timer Auctions is an online auction platform dedicated to vintage and collectible watches. We connect buyers and sellers, ensuring a smooth and secure auction experience for rare timepieces.
  • How does Old Timer Auctions work?
Sellers submit their vintage watch listings for approval. Once approved, the watch is listed for auction, and registered buyers can place bids. When the auction ends, the highest bidder wins the watch, and the transaction is finalized between the buyer and seller.
  • Do I need an account to participate?
Yes, both buyers and sellers must create an account to list, bid, or purchase watches. This helps maintain a secure and transparent auction process.
  • What if I have a dispute with a buyer or seller?
Old Timer Auctions encourages direct resolution between parties. If needed, our support team can assist in mediating the dispute. Our buyer protection is designed to give time for the buyer to review the watch before the funds are released
  • How do I contact customer support?
You can reach us via email at collinhedegard@gmail.com or through our Contact Us page.
  • How do I list a vintage watch for auction?
To list your watch, follow these steps: Register or log in to your account. Submit details of your watch, including photos, description, and any relevant documentation. Our team reviews and approves the listing before it goes live.
  • What types of watches can I sell?
We accept vintage, antique, and collectible watches from reputable brands. The watch should typically be at least 20 years old or have significant historical value.
  • Is there a listing fee?
We offer a simple, flat $3 listing fee—no hidden costs, no outrageous commissions
  • Can I set a reserve price for my watch?
Yes, you can set a reserve price, which is the minimum amount you’re willing to accept for your watch. If the highest bid does not meet the reserve, the watch will not be sold.
  • How do I handle payment and shipping?
Once the auction ends, we contact the buyer and seller to finalize payment and arrange shipping. We recommend using insured shipping services for secure delivery. The buyer's preferred payment method will be charged and the funds are held in escrow. Once payment is in escrow, the shipping details are provided to the seller.
  • What happens if a buyer fails to complete the purchase?
If a winning bidder does not complete the transaction, they may face penalties or account suspension. The seller may also offer the watch to the next highest bidder.
  • How do I place a bid?
Register or log in to your account. Browse available watches and place your bid. Monitor the auction until it ends. If you have the highest bid when the auction closes, you win the watch!
  • Can I cancel or retract my bid?
No, all bids are binding. Please make sure you are committed before placing a bid.
  • Are there additional fees for buyers?
Buyers may be required to pay a buyer’s premium, which is a percentage of the final auction price.
  • How do I arrange shipping?
We communicate with the Seller. Once payment is in escrow from the buyer, the shipping details are provided to the buyer from the seller.
